I worked at Hyatt full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great Insurance
Great additional benefits- games with awards, short-term long-term disability, life insurance, 12 Free hotel nights a year (if you can schedule them) and employee events and volunteer opportunities

    Cons

Constant pressure to take more calls, sell more, keep calls short-even with HUGE customer service issues.
If a call runs long you are supposed to deduct those minutes from your break time or it counts double against you.
Crappy holiday schedules. You don't always have much choice
Difficult to get time off, free hotel nights are very limited in availability and takes up to 20 hours of personal time to try to find it and schedule it to use all 12 per year.
Management dishonesty and favoritism. (They don't apply policies equally to everyone and make determinations on the amount of bonuses they will get)
Vague policies that can be interpreted different ways depending on what manager feels like at the moment. (Enforce differently for each employee)
    Low pay in entry positions.

    Advice to Management

Live up to company mission and top executive's intent in policies. Top management take a closer look at middle management and how they achieve their goals.
