I have been working at Hyatt full-time

    Pros

Provide accommodation with all expenses paid like water, electricity. Shuttle bus from hotel to accommodation and meals at staff cafeteria. Also 50% on select Hyatt F&B outlets. Work in a nice setting as hotels are beautiful. People are generally friendly and helpful and since we have a crazy mix of nationalities and ages, it can be lots of fun.

    Cons

Low salaries vs. other industries and quite long working hours. Low budgets for projects. Not enough Manning overall. You are forced to do a LOT with little.

    Advice to Management

Working long does NOT mean working right.

    I worked at Hyatt part-time

    Pros

I worked at the windsor, Connecticut location.
Extra income would not recommend working full time. If you want to feel like your in high school again great place to work !

    Cons

Kitchen management had no experience at all she did not know how to cook, schedule or communicate with employees extremely rude and talked to other employees about other employees personal business. Manager would schedule and set people up to get fired knowing they can’t work certain shifts if they didn’t like you. Management fired employees that complained. Managers did nothing but stay locked in each other’s offices.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced managers, listen to your staff some of them are extremely hardworking,
