    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

Wonderful employees, convenient location, free parking

    Cons

Weak upper management, poor training if any, one will be told they are hired for one position and have other unrelated job duties given to them once on board, benefits and incentives mentioned but not given.

    Advice to Management

New upper management would make a positive difference for sure.

    I worked at Hyatt part-time

    Pros

I worked at the windsor, Connecticut location.
Extra income would not recommend working full time. If you want to feel like your in high school again great place to work !

    Cons

Kitchen management had no experience at all she did not know how to cook, schedule or communicate with employees extremely rude and talked to other employees about other employees personal business. Manager would schedule and set people up to get fired knowing they can’t work certain shifts if they didn’t like you. Management fired employees that complained. Managers did nothing but stay locked in each other’s offices.

    Advice to Management

Hire experienced managers, listen to your staff some of them are extremely hardworking,

I worked at Hyatt full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get a discount with the company for hotels but everything must be approved by a manager. Overall they are trying to push policy very widely with the company which is improving the customer service. You get to meet so many people and you can always find something to work on while at work.

    Cons

Scheduling was always hard. I would work 3PM-11PM and end up leaving work at 12;30AM and was scheduled at 7AM to work. So I was always tired and didn't have enough time to study for my college classes.

    Advice to Management

Listen not only to the customers needs but your employees as well.
