I have been working at Hyatt full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    People and variation of work

    Cons

Pay is terrible and if you are paying housekeeping to do a job - make them do a job!

    Advice to Management

Make sure you take care of the good employees and not someone that has been there for years, just because. The longer you are at a company doesn't make you better than anyone.

I have been working at Hyatt full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Complimentary room nights for all employees to use at any Hyatt in the world where available

    Cons

Sales pay structure is poor - commission bonus depends on your quarter as a whole and is paid quarterly with NO guaranteed bonus payout for making your quota for the year

    Advice to Management

Structure the commission/bonus payout to pay a bonus for the months exceeded, not quarters

Make all properties PTO versus separate "sick" hours and "vacation" hours

World of Hyatt roll-out was an unnecessary Marketing stunt to make it look like we're cutting edge when really we just reinvented the wheel on our own loyalty system and confused EVERYONE
