I have been working at Hyatt full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hyatt really looks out for their employees. The benefits (for non-franchise) add a good $5k to your salary. Go to college get an extra $1k. Staff at out location isn't so big, so it feels like a team and like a family (with some bad kids every once in a while).

    Cons

Diversity is beautiful, but it comes with differences of opinions. The accepting / tolerant seem to make it in the long haul!

I worked at Hyatt full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Free hotel stays as a benefits package
Some of my coworkers really made the difference over 5 years cause there wasn't much else.

    Cons

No money in the industry, even as a Sales Manager in a prime location salary was terrible. Very hard to earn a decent bonus check due to high taxes and it being based off your salary.

    Advice to Management

Pay your managers more, it was funny to find out that 3 months after I left I was still in the top 5 sales performers for my region since I was so far ahead in terms of quota when I left.

    Pros

flexible hours and great management staff, the management staff is very understanding and flexible with your outside life.

Very busy and hectic work environment, sometimes you can just be a face in the workplace instead of an actual person working for the company.

    Pros

great company, awesome benefits. They really do care about their employees and trying to move them up within the company. I would highly recommend.

    Cons

I really don't have much to say negatively about the company. Maybe just being better about moving employees up within the same hotel. The company wants their employees to move from city to city which isn't always viable especially with families involved.
