Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Hyde Group full-time
Pros
Christmas party, however hourly paid staff do not get to join in so have to pay for their own.
Cons
Managers have no idea how to run a business. Staff do what ever they want. None of the work is done properly, and no one cares about their job. Directors get big bonuses twice a year (enough to buy brand new £80,000 cars) and rest of staff don't even get a thank you, let alone the 1% pay rise they are promised every year. Clique culture as 80% of staff are related or in relationships, if you're not in the family you are a target. Reporting incidents do not get taken seriously, in fact, you get laughed at-even incidents of harassment. Managers expect minimum paid staff to start work hours earlier and stay hours after they are supposed to with NO over time, NO pay and NO time back, if you cannot do extra hours for free you are made to feel like your job is at risk. Shop floor staff behave how they want to and never get warnings. There are safety issues everywhere, extractions and air filters were never properly cleaned or checked so people are left to breathe in carcinogenic chemicals all day unknowingly. You are expected to go above and beyond for people who would happily dance on your grave. If you are someone who cannot stand up for themselves you will have absolutely no chance working here as you will get walked all over. If you are someone who will stand up for themselves, they will show you the door faster than you can say good morning.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at Hyde Group full-time for more than a year
Pros
There are some good people there.
Cons
Senior management ignore issues, they try to hide it and cover over problems. If your not a yes person then you are targeted. If management aren't keen on you then your regularly threatened with disciplinary action. There is a clique on the shopfloor that tries to run the business. It's all friends and family.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at Hyde Group full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
if you are part of the clique then there are benefits to be had. the chosen few will be part of the bonus group, receiving large bonuses to top up the poor wages, whilst other work twice as hard for little or no reward.
Cons
terrible atmosphere on all sites, shop floor run the companies (lunatics run the asylum!), managers take a back seat as they tend to not know what needs doing. staff struggle for work/life balance whilst those in the "family" or "clique" take the teflon approach and end up in 50k cars courtesy of bonuses.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Hyde Group full-time
Pros
Opportunity for progression. Ability to take on additional responsibility. Interesting project work. Good christmas party. Many good people thoughout the business.
Cons
Expectation to work evenings and weekend for no extra pay. Cancel Christmas holidays in response to poor business performance. Lack of accountability from senior management for poor business practices. High expectations with little/no training. Profit above staff welfare.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Hyde Group full-time
Pros
Some friendly staff, no other pros...
Cons
Observations: - Lack of care for staff - Pressure staff to work overtime (evenings and weekends) every day for no money, regardless of your circumstances - make you feel guilty - Not enough staff for the high amount of work - lack of resources - No flexibility - Negative/tiring/dull work environment (short lunch break) - Working in fear in case you lose your job - fear culture - Senior management do not care/see you as a human being - Only care about profit - Extremely high staff turnover - Poor training - expectations way too high for new starters/young staff - Finger pointing - Rude senior management - Staff frequently arguing Awful place. Worst decision I ever made.
