I worked at Hynix Semiconductor America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free food. Most of the people are great, even some of the ex-pats. Low turnover rate.

    Cons

They only reward people in their cliques. They check the time you come into work, no matter how late you stay.

    Advice to Management

Treat us the same. We are not children to be watched every second.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

They have very good health insurance. The cafeteria is very nice and cheap. Good for sales people but not engineers.

    Cons

Management style is very Korean. Work time is not flexible. HR is not professional. For example, They often give wrong answers when asked about state short term disability plan.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible. Honor flexible work hours to engineers. That you come to work at eight in the morning everyday does not mean the engineers can do that too. Maybe this applies to the sales guys.
