good office space and good company to work
Cons
your manger could be very subjective and a couple of great people left because of their managers.

Pros
A high percentage of the management are great to work with. The people over all are a big reason for me staying, along with working from home. Your experience working for HCA will vary depending on department. However, that can be said for any company. It's easy to move around to another department to find the best fit for you.
Cons
IT support, constant system issues. You are your own IT Helpdesk. Salaries and pay may be with industry average, but on the low end of the scale.

Pros
The work is challenging and rewarding if you like to problem solve. The people I work with are amazing. We have built a family type of environment based off of our communication skills that translate outside of the office space.
Cons
Constant change. Every quarter there is a new way of business. There is a more for less mentality from upper management. They would like you to know and do more but minimally raise your pay.

Good opportunities for advancement

Pros

Cons

A few amazing people to work with, recognized brand.
Cons
Woke became the norm. Poor employee's are rewarded and behavior encouraged by lack of accountability. IT system based issues are ignored, entire departments fail to produce yet are not held accountable, poor upper leadership creates toxic subcultures. CEO often shared political leanings while making those who don't agree feel like outcasts. Toxic department leadership killed retention and caused middle-management to leave. ZERO work/life balance for leadership. constantly working 80 hour work weeks due to additional tasks being assigned on top of normal job duties.

Pros
Benefits: good Benefits Nice Building:
Cons
Incompetent management: Management seems to get away with most anything they want to. CEO: has to report overseas, which has a completely different view on how to do business. He has to answer to them and is not capable of educating them about our culture and the profit they make from the USA. They move people in high positions over divisions they know nothing about, our franchise dealers can be exposed to liablity due to the requirements of the company that are illegal as evident in the recent CFPB ruling. Those that bring up these concerns experience retaliation. If you go to HR they are of no help. If you have any form of experience at a more compliant OEM, you will not fit in here, as they require you to be a trusted advisor/consultant with the dealer, but dealers complain of legal exposure due to HCA's way of non compliant business in many regards. It has been proven that Employees reported concerns of consumers who were drastically impacted by HCA's illegal actions, And HCA resisted change and retaliated against employees (multiple) that worked hard and were competent. Thus they had to pay 19.2 million dollars in damages in the recent (July 2022) ruling. Highly political. No two reports match, that are supposed to measure the same data is my impression. Bonuses have been reduced for employees in sales. There seems to be a mass exodus at HCA, and I also left electively.
