Have a common plan of action, and how to resolve issues.

I worked at Hyundai Capital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are good.
    Great coworkers.
You get a free car as long as you work there.

    Cons

I would not recommend anyone work here unless they desperately needed medical insurance.
You have to say "yes" to everything in order to be liked by the leadership. The leadership is also a bunch of lazy ignorant collectors. They don't know anything except manipulating people into doing what they want. The leadership is so oblivious to the fact that humans are more likely work hard if you're nice to them.
This company is stuck in the stone age of employee/ employer relations. "Capitalist Pig" is an understatement at Hyundai. The leadership is never satisfied and constantly complains about everyone's not working hard enough., when everyone knows Hyundai is doing fine. Morale was basically non existent when my time there came to an end.
Also be prepared to ask a million questions because information will not be communicated in a transparent manner. And then be prepared to be treated as a trouble maker for asking so many questions.
It's a sweat shop. If you talk about being tired or fatigued from having tough conversations on the phone all day long, be prepared to be told to do it anyways. In fact, be prepared to be told that you're not doing enough and you can always be doing more.

    Advice to Management

Acknowledge that collections is not a "fun" job and treat your employees with that in mind.

I have been working at Hyundai Capital full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits and Salary are above and beyond other companies in the area.

    Cons

Heavy FOREIGN influence has destroyed the potential for improved operations and has OBLITERATED employee morale. Severe lack of direction and unclear business objectives. A series of popular buzzwords used over the years such as culture and engagement have fallen on deaf ears and led to another series of new buzzwords that will also result in absolutely nothing. It's very sad ... those beautiful Vehicles deserve so much more.

    Advice to Management

STAND UP for what you know to be right. Korea is thousands of miles and millions of worlds away from American Business and nothing that they dictate will actually work. Don't just sit there simply occupying the desk to protect your job and your pensions.

I have been working at Hyundai Capital full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They pay for almost all of your health care and dental care for the employee, but dependents and spouses are very expensive.

    Cons

Where to begin? This company used to pride itself in making employees happy. They used to do special perks for us and I used to really feel valued. As years have progressed those special perks have all but stopped, which I can't complain too much because they were just special perks but it is evident that they do not care whether we stay or leave.

In present day this company is beginning to function like a modern day sweatshop. There is no culture anymore and it seems like the company has totally lost its humanity side. All they care about is working you until you physically cannot work anymore.

Everything is micromanaged here now, it didn't used to be like that. They monitor everything and you are timed on everything you do. If you like feeling stressed when you go to the bathroom then this is the perfect place for you.

As a whole I feel like this company is making a lot of bad decisions when it comes to employee well being. Colleagues are starting to complain of anxiety from too much pressure, it sometimes feels like life or death. This is no longer the place I once thought it was.

Many of the good paying jobs have been outsourced or restructured into lower paying positions.

    Advice to Management

My hope is that management will start standing up to corporate. I have doubts that this will happen because management is afraid to stand up for themselves but this ship is sinking fast here. Corporate really doesn't understand what goes on in our day to day operations and I feel that we are nothing but a number these days.
