    I worked at Hyundai Motor

    Pros

Job security, free lunch everyday and decent benefits.

    Cons

No work life balance. CEO is constantly stayed by his "eunuchs" that are management. They sway him and manipulate him to make decisions in their favor. Too many incompetent management heads. Pay scale is horrible. They do not promote based on talent and performance. They only promote based on tenure and age at the company. The turnover rate is absolutely ridiculous. People get hired and quit more than any other...

    Advice to Management

Recognize the talent and high performers in each department and reward them. Many employees give their blood, sweat and tears into this company and are never rewarded or recognized hence your high turnover rate. The world is changing. The ways of a conservative Korean company should too.

    I worked at Hyundai Motor

    Pros

Nice people to work with at that time.

    Cons

Korean managers do not understand American culture. They try to push you into staying late and doing extra work on the weekends. Where not flexible on work hours.

    Advice to Management

Learn American culture and family life. Then learn to be flexible. More people would have stayed, if management understood.

I worked at Hyundai Motor full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are no pros. You do get a Kia discount.

    Cons

Culture is horrible, unfair to Americans. Pay is better for Koreans. Hard for women to move up our get respect. Safety is last on the list. Rules are not the same for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Equal pay. Equal opportunities. Hey Safety to the top of the list. Stop putting up with crap and letting the hourly and the Koreans run the business. More than hall the ppl there are looking for another job. Hence the turnover rate. People are very unhappy there

    I worked at Hyundai Motor

    Pros

Full paid benefits + Monthly Allowance

    Cons

Salary not contingent on experience, but on race and gender. No room for growth, overworked, underpaid, undervalued, plenty of room for lawsuits if had enough proof besides sharing similar stories among staff and former employees, no HR department, Korean company operating in USA following 99% Korean ways.

    Advice to Management

Management won't read this... any advice given here has been told to their face .. they are there to collect an inflated salary and paycheck from Headquarters and their giant Hyundai ... all expenses paid.. housing.. education.. entertainment... family... all paid expense to operate in this country until they are rotated back to Korea...

    Pros

Nice building BBQ's monthly Fridays great left overs for your DOG!

    Cons

Immoral, Un Ethical, racist and the most arrogant un professional culture I have ever worked with. The organization is a joke! They paid me well in to the six figure range to establish a business unit then treated me like a grade school child on probation, I need permission to go to the bathroom with a signed voucher! Learn that word well if you choose a Korean communist company to build a career. Hyundai WIA is an embarrassment...

    Advice to Management

Hire an American breed and born President to lead this company back in black.....if you are not to far gone yet...get a clue and let the professionals you hire do what they are hired to do with out requiring a "hall pass"

I have been working at Hyundai Motor full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The company does many new and different technologies. Good place to get some skills and knowledge. The health benefits are awesome and the employees overall are good people.

    Cons

The Korean Management are indifferent to American staff, they do not respect the staff but tolerate them. The management is like being in a blind obedience position. Do not suggest new ideas - that would be arguing. The salary increases are less than 3%, they feel working for Hyundai is payment enough. Korean American staff have more opportunities.

    Advice to Management

No advice, they will not listen or read this information. They are above the staff here in the USA, only listen to corporate Korea. Racially biased company.
