    Advice to Management

Should consider US holidays and regular 8 work hours.

    Pros

you can lease a vehicle from the company

    Cons

for 2 yrs I told my manager my lead needed to learn how to do my job. I was yelled at saying no he did not. I was never able to take a vacation because I had no backup. When no one else knows how to do your job, but you have to get your work done within 2 days. I felt chained to my desk because of this. I did tell the director, and still nothing happened.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your employees have backup so employees can actually take a vacation and relax while away for a few days.

    Pros

Coworkers are great people, you've got flexibility with hours as long as you talk to the manager.

    Cons

Owner pretends to care about people but actually doesn't, lots of salespeople on minimum wage, lots of car deals are minis (no profit or a loss) so you make $100 for selling a car, surveys from Hyundai will often kill you and are stressful so you can lose thousands of dollars over it, typically work weekends.

    Advice to Management

Bump the minis, make it easier for Hyundai sales to sell used cars, .

I have been working at Hyundai full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The Health benefits are great.

    Cons

The management will put you life in danger and keep doing it even after being reported multiple times to Human resources after reporting the incidents to HR you will be told to ignore the fact that they are endangering your life.

    Advice to Management

Human resources needs to be educated on what their job is for. the entire management team in the Denver, Co branch needs to be restructured they have no clue what is going on how to fix any problems or how to train employees.

I worked at Hyundai full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great medical and dental benefits along with a good 401k program. Nice newer facility in Fountain Valley and the in-house dining area is top notch.

    Cons

Upper management is clueless and they love to yell at employees in front of others. HR and Procurement departments having way too much influence over all aspects of the company resulting in them pretty much dictating how work is done. Absolutely no paths for advancement unless you are Korean. Company outsources almost all technical work or brings in non US based workers so they can keep wages down. Zero life/work balance. They are constantly being put on credit hold by vendors for non-payment of their bills.

    Advice to Management

You have a lot of talented employees, give them the opportunity to advance within the company instead of always going outside of the company for replacements.
