Pros
Good benefits : Decent money , dental plan, , medicine , vision care and more. Also good retirement and benefits for life.
Cons
IBEW said "brotherhood" , that 's no apply .When you get older , contractors they don't care if you are 25 0r 60 years old , for them every body is the same .The way what they treat you , is not the best and issues the people around you, like jealousy , bad comments and them you have to work hard , most of the time to making happy.

Feeling good , when you working. Meet " same" good guys .Decent money and good benefits .
Cons
IBEW said "brotherhood", doesn't apply ( bad people around, you cant trust or you get stab), when you get older, you "must" be the same, work hard!(you are "not" more 25 years old). For this, laid off is often and no consideration.Few companies are good (decent)

Pretty good training for apprentices, good pay, pension and benefits. Some job sites are extremely relaxed, guys work at a slower pace for job security reasons

Sometimes it is hard to look that far into the future. The management sometimes do not get what each member is looking for. There is not enough effort (sometimes) to see both sides.
