Pros
$31.55/hr is the rate of pay we take home. On top of it, the contractor pays for Healthcare, and contributes (at the time of review) nearly $7.50/hr to your pension. -and thats not all. Our total package would equate to around $50/hr if you had to source and pay our benefits ourselves. Dues are only ~$40/mo and a percentage of income -but we still make more per hour after dues than our competition. Overtime can never be mandatory and we typically have a 5-8, or 4-10 schedule.
Cons
If there isn't work in the local you may be on the out of work book for a while, however, your ticket can travel and so can you. -electricians will always be needed.
