The best training for electrical installation and electrical theory in the world. A competitive hourly rate with good fringe benefits.
Cons
Work is scarce. The epitome of nepotism. Union ideology preached but not practiced. The hiring list is often side stepped to the contractors benefit. No paid time off, you don't work you don't get paid. You could be laid off for up to two years. Having an electrical license is forbidden, which is a major problem when the hall can't provide work.

Great career. Safest working conditions. Great pay and benefits. Best training in the industry. Craftsmanship and productivity practiced. Work has been steady since 2014. The most productive and dependable typically work over 2000 hours per year.
