    I worked at IBM full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Well established company. Good standards and ability to work with Linux in the desktop. Good technical crowd to work with.

    Cons

    Slow pace can make difficult to make an impact. Too much red tape and paperwork. Some colleagues are accommodated and resilient to changes.

    Use the annual review to keep the best performer employees around.
