I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are good

    Cons

Huge company with way too many people involved with even the small deals. Resource Actions loom every quarter. Most unstable environment I've ever been in.

    Advice to Management

IBM has a long way to go before becoming relevant again. Get IBM ii social media and the younger generation. They have no idea who IBM are.

I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I'm a new father and took advantage of the existing Parental Leave program that was available to us in the US. With the old program, it was 6 weeks of paid leave. With the new program, IBM dads and moms are now entitled to 12 weeks of paid leave. This program doesn't utilize your vacation days. So if you have vacation days, those days are still entitled to you. This is the primary reason I'm spending some time on writing this review.

Employee discounts. I honestly didn't know this existed till I started navigated the maze of wiki sites we have (see Con below). It was pretty nice that we had access to discounts from electronics to things like Disney park.

    Cons

    * Bonuses and raises are slim to none.
    * Team members are also concerned about losing the ability to work from home.
    * A lot of systems to navigate and old systems that are still in use that need to be replaced
    * 401k matching isn't done till the last paycheck of the year
