I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 10 years)
Everyone knows IBM so it's good to have on your resume. The transition to a cloud and analytics company is positive. Market presence.
Annual layoffs, management heavy, many poorly trained managers, annual movement of managers that bring little value is hurting the company and client/partner relationships.
Advice to Management
Learn to appreciate existing talent. Less movement of employees might help to expose deadbeats, at all levels. Less "blue washing" of acquisition companies would help IBM be a more progressive company.
