    I worked at IBM full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

    Flexibility to work from home and dodge my colleagues who constantly mobbed me

    Cons

    If you ever have any issues, don't ever go to HR as that will only make things worse. They tell the person you are unhappy and why but nothing gets done. So you have to deal with the initial mobbing and the revenge on top of it. Big scarlet letter.

    Advice to Management

    Take better care of your employees. Not everything can be done by Watson yet and you need people to keep the business growing.

    Der Vertrieb bei IBM hebt sich vom Markt ab, durch Flexibilität, Freiheit, Eigenverantwortung. Dies zeigt sich im Arbeitalltag, z.B. am Arbeitsort (Home Office), Own Devices, Vertrauensarbeitszeit und im strategischen Fokus auf gemeinsamem Verständnis von Werten.

    Cons

    Die IBM Führungsebene ist überwiegend durch Personen besetzt, die Ihr gesamtes Berufsleben bei IBM beschäftigt sind und entsprechend sind die Industrie-Erfahrungen im Wesentlichen auf Erlebnisse mit den Kunden beschränkt.

    Advice to Management

    Please hire Evangelists / Wild Ducks from Competitors, we need a more heterogeneous management team to win the Innovation challenge in saturated markets.
