I worked at IBM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Intensive world class sales training provided. The company really invest in their employees so you can become a well-rounded seller.
    2. Work-life balance, 7.5 working hours
    3. Less micromanagement, (no radar on in/out time, lunch time), you feel more freedom. However, you have to make sure all your tasks are well completed on time. Personally, I'm okay to stay back (I did most of the time) & do more work even on weekends when I feel happy to work here in IBM.
    4. Be proud of what you have contribute and great to have the brand in yr resume
    5. Walking distance to OneUtama (3mins), food galore

    Cons

    1. Too many solutions to learn , you really need to catchup fast because all the leads come in random in your SalesConnect. Otherwise, you will be stucked while talking to clients (remember, they do research & have experience more than you do). If you love to learn fantastic technology (IT Solutions) like I do, then you'll find a purpose and happy to engage with clients.

    2. Quota. Like any sales job. Should work smart and work hard because they reaaally.. measure on your sales KPI. Pressure is passed down from the top to the bottom.

    Advice to Management

KPI is key to organizations but pushing your employees through a positive way is much more effective. You can become a great motivator or just passing down the snowball from the higher managements.
