    Advice to Management

I wish there was more career opportunity for the interns for coming back as full timers.

I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

starting salary is decent. Benefits are OK. Most employees can work autonomously, without managers micromanaging over your shoulder

    Cons

Too many to mention. Morale is in the toilet after years of job cuts, wage freezes, and stupid policies like terminating work from home options (even occasional).

    Advice to Management

no point in advising management. The report chain is so thick, there are 15 layers between an entry level hire and the CEO. Decisions about your job are made by people you haven't even heard of, and to them, you're just a number. You have to accept this style of management or work elsewhere

    Cons

-you are just a number to them who can contribute just a little and make very little to none change in the company

    Advice to Management

    be more innovative

Financial environment, and its job nature mostly comes across conflict handling to strive, clients are very aggressive, you must be able to take many calls has this is how they gain and is part of their promise, "LSA"
High level of stress apart from Friday sometimes
Their pay is $14, although it was not the focus

I worked at IBM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of parking (seriously, that's all I can think of)

    Cons

Worked on multiple deals for 6 months+ only to have territory change and get no credit for deals when they closed - giving someone else a lottery ticket for my hard work.

Management doesn't really care about you - just your numbers. They have no issues with changing your territory twice in 6 months and coming into no pipeline each time yet demanding that you have something on the board for a product that has a months long sales cycle.

Frustrations fall on deaf ears. Management constantly asking me to make up pipeline so they look good.

    Advice to Management

There's a mass exodus of top talent at IBM and you continue to let it happen by giving your rep's crap accounts, constantly reassigning territories and not rewarding talent for closing hard deals (these instead get reassigned to someone else after 6 months of working on it only for it to close 2 months later)
