    Pros

There are lots of career opportunities here at this company as well as lots of different products to work on.

    Cons

As for a negative thing, I would say that in my opinion some of the processes are redundant and hinder productivity here.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better with non- management employees.

    Pros

This is a relatively easy job, we have flex time, and we have generally nice people to work with here.

    Cons

This is a very old culture, like working for government. Very strong politics. Management wastes money and resources and then gets promoted.

    Advice to Management

Work on changing the culture instead of keeping up appearances for investors.

  3. "A nice, pleasant place to work. If you end up with a good manager you could be set for life!"

    Pros

This is quite a big company, and therefore it will allow for geographic and lateral movement, which is a plus.

    Cons

In my opinion, the company is possibly too big, and so it is very difficult to move up the ladder.

    Advice to Management

My personal opinion is that they are selfish and care only about their careers.

    Pros

very flexible working hours, ability to move professionally and geographically as it is a large company. People also know your name as an expert in the field

    Cons

Being a mature worker, there is not a lot of room for advancement. I feel too old to learn quickly!

    Advice to Management

Start looking at not just innovation, but quality products. 20-30 years ago companies spent a lot of time testing software to get it right. Now everyone is in a hurry and the quality is not there.

  5. "Dynamic. Global teams: communication is lost due to the remote aspect. Stressful, but fun when things are accomplished."

    Pros

As for a postive to mention, I like it that at this company there is lot of opportunity to work in different areas.

    Cons

We are very overloaded with work. We work 50-60 hours per week every week and that is a negative as far as I am concerned.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate more with employees.

    Pros

The benefits package is really good and we have the opportunity for professional growth at this company, which is important to me.

    Cons

In my personal opinion, it is a negative thing that there are a lot of management changes at this company.

    Advice to Management

    Have more respect for individuals.

    Pros

There is a really good work life balance at the company and there is also the option of flex time.

    Cons

It is a big corporation, so as you would expect, sometimes the employee's impact on things is not a huge one.

    Advice to Management

Be more open - sometimes they try to hide things like how the company is doing or the outlook for the next 2-3 years.

  8. Helpful (3)

"Extremely long hours, company expects a minimum of 55 hours per week, otherwise you get pushed out."

    Pros

When I first started, there was a lot of opportunity for movement, now they are sending jobs offshore and aren't even hiring in the US.

    Cons

Management does not tell the truth. In order to grow professionally, you have to get a visa and move to India or China!!

    Advice to Management

    Make better investment choices

    Pros

For one thing, this is a very great opportunity for movement geographically as the company is all over the place.

    Cons

The executives here don't always do what they say they are going to do. There is a lack of leadership.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on what is really going on in the market as other tech companies are passing them up. They are slow at updating technology.

  10. "A very quiet environment, flexible as far as working schedule, and a good place to build experience."

    Pros

Brand recognition, and you get lots of different experience. Also, you can work from home or leave early if necessary.

    Cons

Limited career growth, and some favoritism as far as promotions. I'd say that compensation is not up to par in the industry.

    Advice to Management

Be more understanding of employee limitations as far as not splitting employees among 10 different projects, allow them to focus on one or two.
