    Pros

    Very good company to work with.Quite Flexible in approach.Supports employee in all the ways.Good remuneration.Understands employee.

    Cons

    Not much cons.Project directives depends on delivery manager you are working on.Sometime skills may be mis match with seniors and subordinates

    I worked at IBM (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Extra down-time.
    Straightforward work.
    Later work days.
    Able to finish and leave when done rather than stay to a point in time.
    Usually easy to access locations.

    Cons

    Locations sometimes far out of reach without a car.
    Servers for RBC not always ready to back up to and restore from.
    Laptops required to have a specifically entered server to backup/restore to.
    Unexpected cancellations of shifts due to RBC complications.
    End-users equipment sometimes not found and make the shift even more complicated.

    Advice to Management

    Keep the scheduling ready long before shift in case it needs to be cancelled.

    I worked at IBM (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    There is nothing pro worth mention in here. The biggest and the worst company in Canada.
    Absolutly no loyalty. I have been on pager duty for 5 years straight and thats was not enough !! they hired Indians to replace my job!!!

    Cons

    Manager especially 2nd 3rd level are very rude with no basic knowladge how to treat poeople with respect. Constant verbal abuse. One manager in particular bought cell phone for private use and pay by giving some pepole OT money Discussting !!!

    Advice to Management

    No advice I think the whole organization is bad

    Hard to find time for a social life because of the number of hours.

    Have a defined job description for each job title and plan better for upcoming projects.
