I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It "was" an excellent company, lot of resources and assets if you really want to tap into its assets and knowledge content. Good to join for college graduates who can learn and move out for better career opportunities.

    Cons

Too much focuses on stock and earning per share rather than employees who are key in any knowledge industry. Too much focused on cost rather than long term interest. Some time it acts like a low cost retailer rather than high value corporation.

    Advice to Management

focus on the people rather than wall street.
