I worked at IBM full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Was able to work remotely. Worked a total of 25 years at IBM. The benefits were good and the people were great.

    Cons

The working environment changed over the years with constant lay offs and jobs being taken off shore to Brazil, India, Philippine, and Costa Rica. It was very stressful wondering if you would be on the new list for lay offs. IBM let go of a lot of great dedicated employees.

I worked at IBM full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Nothing positive to talk about big blue

    Cons

Very limited progation and don't pay well and PBC reviews are based on who you know. If Leads don't like you will always be on deep end or marked down.

    Advice to Management

That is why they called mgs. Figure it put why people leave after long service

    Approves of CEO

I worked at IBM full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

flexible work schedule, and very minimal work pressure (unless you work for a difficult account), and more importantly, very transparent employee rating system.

    Cons

Its a known fact that IBM offers a very miserly salary packages, and the %age annual increments add to the woes.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at IBM full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Various opportunities to move from role to role and good career growth

    Cons

Manager plays a vital role. Hard work to be recognised. People come with high aspirations, should not lose hopes. Manager should have a meeting atleast once a month to discuss with their DRs.
