I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

A great Company to work with, This is the only Company, where employees are happy to go to work, because of work environment and friendly behaviour, I have been with the company for last 9 years from the consultant level to management levels now, They teach a good humour and always encourage the empathy towards the employees and reportees..

Greatest fact of IBM is Learnings which is offered in different platforms, you name the technology you have the platform of learnings, We have great knowledge assets, which empower the Company to embrace any challenge and any change and succeed.

IBM is the best company to work in the context of Talent recognition aspect, I have seen the management is vigilant on recognition of talents across the board. We have programs to recognize them and encourage them to go ahead and beyond to achieve great results.

    Cons

I don't see much of downsides, but few which I can say we have to improve in the organization. We are a huge process and data procedures followers, which can be optimised to the comfort of employees and management with equal accuracy and security.

HR regulations and interaction are very less, the tradition followed is to speak via emails. It is very difficult to get any news talents into the company though we refer them to tools and we don't know what the end result!

    Advice to Management

I want management to open more forums in the context of traceability of concepts we have on employee career and options and growth possibilities, which we are now the bit behind in the context!
