    IBM is a place where you can often move to a different job and broaden your experience so over a 5 or 10 year period, you have had few different and interesting careers.

    If you have an entrepreneur nature, It isn't always easy to find a job where you can put it to good use.

    IBM managers should frequently renew their focus on employees--foster development opportunities, recognition, counseling and transfer for the good of the company, team and individual.

    Great innovation and bedrock brand. Constant desire to reinvent and push the envelope in many areas. Treat employees fairly and try to balance shareholder value, investments, and other financial obligations in the most aggressive manner, while rewarding top employees, as well.

    Large and sometimes you might get caught up in a department that is being reduced from an investment perspective as they reinvest in other areas

    continue to really invest in employees

    Most areas are understaffed so you will be quite busy hunting down assistance. Some areas of bureaucracy

    Good work/life balance. Management is making serious efforts to change the work culture and bring in new work practices with the introduction of agile work cycle.

    The onboarding process for interns needs a lot of improvement in terms of structire and organization. Could also do with a lot more activities for interns
