I have been working at IBM (More than 10 years)

    Pros

IBM is drastically changing its business strategy and business portfolio from its old hardware, software and service to Cloud, Cognitive (AI) and Industry solutions. Much new skills are required and recruiting.

    Cons

Old IBMers have been pressured heavily - change yourself or leave it. This is happening all around the world. IBM decided not to follow Kodak failure but it is cruel and brutal, anyway, from HR perspective.

    Advice to Management

Please look at your colleagues - Is it the justifiable or reasonable reasons to lay off the old IBMers who has royalty, long work record for IBM.

I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Culture is quite better than other consulting firms. Brand image is good especially in USA. Cognitive service, Watson, is powerful at healthcare industry.

    Cons

Sales opportunities are getting less in the local market, Korea. That makes low salary. Too many management level, lack of juniors.
