I worked at IBM (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours, working from home.

    Cons

Managers change every year, so they don't know how to rate your performance as they are completely hands off and don't understand what your duties are and what you do everyday. The technical lead who actually does know has no input in to your review.

I have been working at IBM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company allows me to grow, develop and mostly to have a touch point with the upper management. There is a huge resource of people and money, provided i manage to make my point i regards to a project.

    Cons

It's not a place to chill, that's for shore. If you want to have someone holding your hand this is the wrong place, IBM i'ts all about efficiency, customer care and pro-activity (personnel) . So if you want to learn, if you want to grow and if you are open minded you'r welcome
