    Pros

IBM has a lot of neat products, exciting innovators, and fantastic teams. We get to be on the bleeding edge of innovation every day. Things evolve quickly, and the pace is exhiliarting. We have many wonderful benefits options, 401k, discounted stock, pension, lots of days off, and many team outings. It's very family friendly, and management encourages us to get personally involved in our communities.

    Cons

Bureacracy, red-tape. Inability to change. Pay. Our commissions system is completely messed up. It's embarassing how wrong our data is. We spend as much time adhering to process as we do to actually selling to customers.

    Advice to Management

Less people, better pay. Fix our own company before buying others.

I have been working at IBM full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Work from home.
Can be good work life balance.
    Environment is very professional.
    Training is excellent.

    Cons

    Brutal bureaucracy.
Company is very cheap with expenses. Systems seem designed to cause employee to give up and pay out of pocket.
Many products compete internally for the same customer.

    Advice to Management

Improving shareholder value by cutting internal perks/expenses/bonus greatly improves employee turnover and costs more than it saves.
