    Approves of CEO

I have been working at IBM full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Huge company with a massive amount of work and positions that are available to anyone. If you are a go-getter, you can get yourself into nearly any kind of position that you'd like.

    Cons

The culture of the company is highly aggressive and competitive. Teamwork and collaboration is very rare to see. In order to move up, you must put others down. And as always, Bureaucracy of a large corporation causes extra work and frustration.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at the culture that you emit and encourage. Your people are the main resource to gain revenue, do what you can to retain them.

SO much bureaucracy, people get cut easily, most projects are pretty boring

    Advice to Management

Get your stuff together-- if you're going to invest in young people for 2 years out of college, actually invest in them.

I have been working at IBM full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Flexible remote policy - Kind people

    Cons

    - They sell this role as mgmt consulting.. it's not - Very volatile working environment (people get fired all the time) - Consistent talent loss to better companies - Hierarchical / no one listens to younger folk who genuinely want to improve the company - Disinvestment from many interesting innovation programs - They make it hard to be a self-starter - Lack of transparency around changes and issues with GBS.... The culture of secrecy is getting out of hand. - Can only get a role if you network for it. Meritocracy, I hardly knew her..

    Advice to Management

You need to SERIOUSLY rethink GBS. Culture revamp + more strategy focus + strengthen tech talent in GTS. Or you're going to keep losing people..
