    Pros

    Opportunity to work in new role with each project Lots of networking opps with other tech companies Lots of opportunities to learn

    Cons

    Travel weekly to client site, which may not be in a great location Projects understaffed so long hours to accomplish deliverables High expectation to make IBM and their clients priority above all else Commitment expectation increases every year Bonus program is weak

    Stop overselling to get the contract... you are wearing out your staff.

    Still some good jobs and opportunities outside of USA.

    Cons

    High-stress jobs and long hours. Subject to constant layoffs in USA. Often drives people into early retirement. Very few pay increases. Keeps cutting benefits.     Advice to Management

    Stop managing strictly by the numbers and pay more attention to your employees and your customers. Hire new people for a career and not just a job. Restore traditional IBM culture and values. Develop better leadership and management skills or the hemorrhaging will continue.
