    I worked at ICC Lowe full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Once upon a time it was a castle in the sky; talent was the driver. People respected one another. Most of all, selecting the right people for the right position was of paramount importance.

    Management was kind.

    Cons

    AND THEN...the FCB Commandants took over. Systematically, they drove away the talent; replacing them in some cases with hacks who have worked in (and been dismissed by) every pharma Agency for a 30-mile radius.
    Generously, some of the remaining staff were offered demotions. High-functioning teams were disassembled and scattered because...well, who knows why? Maybe because they weren't sufficiently afraid and couldn't be expected to obey the New Masters, who felt that lying was a great technique for demoralization.
    To complete the destruction, they are now reconfiguring the space so that NO ONE has an office, rather, all will sit in long, long rows, like slaves in the galley ships.

    Advice to Management

    It's too late. An astounding 50% of the resident talent has been fired, forced out, or made so miserable they left of their own free will. Now they constantly scream that "We Need People!" but unless they decide to become more humane, they won't find them. Word on the street is so awful, they're better off folding it all into the city offices of FCB. --Which some thought was the plan all along, except the fortune spent on reconstruction belies that.

    I worked at ICC Lowe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Head of IT department is a great guy and always tries to do the best for employee;
    Great people to work with - they are friendly and smart;
    Amazing length of paid vacation on top of 10+ holidays a year!
    Contractors are being paid very well.

    Cons

    HR is slow and unresponsive regarding everything outside of routine documentation;
    Poor career development for tech people. But have to mention that I saw a lot of people promoted as designers or copywriters;
    Mediocre full-time salary;
    Average medical insurance and poor dental insurance.

    I have been working at ICC Lowe (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Made some great friends in the Creative Dept.

    Cons

    Totally Account driven. No work/life balance, even some of the top Creatives lived on the Dark Side, offering no support to overburdened staff. Beware of launches here... 12 to 14 days for a year straight are not uncommon.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to acknowledge the awful conditions and make financial amends, especially to Creatives if they want to retain any talent on the second floor.

    I worked at ICC Lowe (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great commute in North Jersey if looking to having a for a place to work in North Jersey with a short commute. Otherwise, pros are extremely limited.

    Cons

    People are beyond negative. Extremely political that people are hired because they know someone who is higher up. If you think of a great idea or a great solution for the company that could help expand your workflow, don't expect it to get approved as everything has to go up the ladder and chances are it will fall flat with the person you report into. There is no true direction of the company expect the same old work flow that has gone on for years and people are hired to bring new divisions to the company or new ideas yet the ideas really aren't taken off. It's not a full service agency though they keep trying and failing.

    Advice to Management

    Is there management at this company? Feels like a free for all with people doing their own work and no true management.
