    Approves of CEO

I have been working at ICIS

    Pros

A smaller company feel embedded in a billion dollar organization. ICIS is a global leader in its field and has a great culture. Collaboration with other regions and teams is encouraged and supported. Colleagues are always supportive. Benefits are great and outstanding matching 401K.

    Cons

As a global entity there are the usual issues with speed but they are always open to recommendations. Pay has grown and is competitive but increases are minimal. Company is very UK centric. IT infrastructure needs much focus.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at ICIS full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There has been a lot of product development within the last 2 years and they are moving in the right direction. ICIS has average benefits and a decent work life balance. The editors, analysts and products team are good.

    Cons

Management is the greatest con. ICIS has very poor senior leadership with extremely fragile egos. The environment is quite hostile and unstable demonstrated by the fact that there has been 3 CEOs in less than 2 years. They are punitive to the sales team - if you have a great year, they increase your quotas ensuring that you will not see the same or greater success the following year, regardless of how you grow the business.

    I worked at ICIS

    Pros

Global company that offers training. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

    Cons

Benefits have been eroded, especially compared to peer companies in price reporting. London does not really care about US operations and does not respect it.
