I worked at ICON Medical Imaging as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I had a great experience there. It was my first internship and the people I had the opportunity to work with really knew there stuff. I was given a lot of hands-on experience with their financial statements and was able to work with a team and uncover some data that was useful to the senior managers.

    Cons

While there was a lot of hands-on experience, there were some days where absolutely nothing happened. Projects were complete or reviews had to be made at the end of the day so you would just have to sit around until something came up.

    Advice to Management

No useful advice to senior management.

I worked at ICON Medical Imaging full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good work environment with friendly staff for the most part.

    Cons

Upper management is extremely rude and don't know how to treat employees. No compensation for off work hours/over-time. Very clicky, gossip runs rampant, and lots of he said she said.

    Advice to Management

Fire upper management and hire experience people who know how to manage their employees.

I have been working at ICON Medical Imaging full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You will love the work that you do.The core team members will work to help reach your project goals.

    Cons

Some people don't understand how to communicate to their employees and it created tension. High Turnover. Lack of diversity.

    Advice to Management

Develop to be more like corporate brand with training. In order to develop and prevent recurring issues you have to rework old processes.

    Pros

IMI has lots of friendly people that are willing to help as needed; benefits are good; the cubicles are as comfortable as they can be; supervisor feedback is common.

    Cons

The Project Assistant position is probably the most boring job I've ever had. It's great for a recent graduate that needs to learn the 9-5 lifestyle and office politics or someone counting down to retirement, but for someone creative and/or with a few years of professional experience, it is not an ideal role. Management is enthusiastic about helping cultivate managers, but there's really only one career path within IMI, and if you're not interested, it seems like a waste of time.

    Pros

It was a Friendly atmosphere with flexible vacation time and flexible hours. I always had something to do and it kept me busy.

    Cons

Though I always had something to do, it did not seem important in the grand scheme of things and there was a lot of busy work/paperwork that took up too much time.

    Pros

team members and direct managers are great. They will try their best to get the best for their team.

    Cons

very poor sr. management. some are uneducated sr. managers( some only have associate degrees) and have director positions. Promotions are based on who you know and not what you know and your qualifications. Sr. managers declines any types of compensation for extra hrs you put in for weeks. directors at this company doesn't even know the definition of respect and Professionalism

    Advice to Management

HR really needs to start looking at qualifications of sr. managements and take actions. They are loosing people with good skills due to poor management and unqualified directors commanding and demanding on their employees. ICON Medical Imaging really needs new sr. managers with qualifications to lead the people.
