    Pros

Can't think of any pros for this company except the recruiters in my office were really neat people and are good at what they do.

    Cons

The upper management hire people with no commitment to giving them a chance, in my case giving me 4 weeks to make the numbers, and a decision gets made on whether to retain you without the final decision maker ever sitting down with you at any point along the way to coach you, discuss your progress or where you are coming short, or to hear "your side of the story" as opposed to your recruiting manager, who may be an incompetent micro-manager who wastes precious time instructing you the firs hour of a requisition, while the best candidates fly off the boards by other recruiters at other firms. The person who chops you goes strictly on what your recruiting manager says, even if they themselves only just started as a recruiting manager. You end up with a black mark on your job history that you cannot explain, because one is not to speak negatively of a past employer. You are stuck with trying to finesse the fact you lasted 1 month at a job!

    Advice to Management

Tell people up front they may only get a short tryout - be honest; or be responsible, and give them a real chance to prove themselves. Some people are slow starters but can master things better than anyone else, as their analytical side takes over and the process all the aspects of the job more fully.

    Pros

The people working for the company are really nice.

    Cons

They are a service to place someone into a full time role and they bother you a lot with silly questions after you've been placed in a role.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to hit all your employees up for the names of their friends and family.

    Pros

Organization that thinks big but has limited layers, accessible leadership
Strong structure/process that allows you to focus on your job function. Recruiters get to recruit, they don't have to bother with onboarding, employee relations, etc.
Access to great resources and tools
Emphasis on quality and integrity, managements message is that we should always do the "right" thing
Strong clients and always growing, Recruiters have plenty to work on
    Ability for remote work, flexibility
Able to have a healthy work life balance, strong support system when you take time off so you can really step away from your work, but you come back to things taken care of.
    Strong national/global presence
Managed by strengths, significant growth opportunities, and management has reasonable, attainable expectations

    Cons

People who are not adaptable and able to mold to new process may have a hard time.

    Advice to Management

More internal communication regarding different teams results/successes to increase cross organizational friendly competition!

    I worked at ICONMA full-time

    Pros

Some of their mid level managers are AMAZING!

    Cons

Micro managing is all they do. As a recruiter you really are not allowed to leave your seat. There is no chance to actually talk to the people you work with. Morale is horrible, how could it be good? Every Monday morning is a "team meeting" in actuality it is a fact shaming meeting. As a salary employee you are required to clock in and out for the day as well as lunch. They monitor EVERYTHING and threaten your job with it. Also, if you have a resume up new or old, they will fire you. Instead of keeping a positive environment, they instill fear. People who have not had training and finally turn things around with their metrics get fired. People who actually care and want to improve leave. Also the company is Not run by Who the website says it is, she has no clue what is going on or who actually works there.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a serious overhaul. There are a few great people still there that actually care about people. Those people need to stay and help change the culture and environment.

    Pros

Only the fact that they facilitated the interview with their end-client. I did the rest-literally.

    Cons

Worst employment verification process ever and they are liars. They use Hireright, which still uses verification technology from the Dark Ages (email, phone and fax). Iconma even told me to do their work and go to the IRS for copies of my W. 2's. Because it took so long for this process to finish, it cost me a job and potential career opportunity. And, because the turnaround wasn't in 48 hours, they gave me some half-baked story about the company rescinding the offer, blah. When I demanded a copy of a communication from the company and from a company employee, they couldn't come up with one-nor have they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to send the pc back-they want me to send it back at my own expense!!!! Iconma's HR department has no clue, in short, and management has no clue how to manage them, either.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue and a half!!

    Advice to Management

Be honest with employees always, they appreciate the feedback given.
