    Pros

Great place to work! An educational atmosphere with staff who care about the students success. Employees are offered good pay and benefits for them and their families .

    Cons

Those who do not enjoy their jobs should probably be working else where. Give the spot to some one who needs and cares about their job.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to hire more qualified candidates with the desire to work.

I worked at ICT (Interactive College of Technology) (Less than a year)

    Pros

I would say the attitude of the ESL students, but their victimization by an unscrupulous, greedy, amoral, sociopathic, unethical, ignorant, insipid , and painfully pretentious administration won't allow me to note any positive aspect of this "school" whose marketing department outnumbers teaching staff.

    Cons

The bulk of their revenue comes from unsuspecting ESL students who don't know they are paying tuition for something they could get for free from various legitimate tech schools in the metro Atlanta area.
The unfortunate few students who actually matriculate and register for "technical" course work, are placed in a classroom with an "instructor" who is more a proctor since the students are sold text books which they open and begin studying on their own as though in some correspondence class in the 60's. They can ask questions if they don't understand what they are studying, but the person/proctor may or may not know about the subject matter and many times just bs through the answer. The students are better off just buying and reading the textbook on their own.

    Advice to Management

They should change their name to Trump University, more name recognition and similar curriculum with similar "rip-off" philosophy.

    Pros

Training is awesome, people focused on student success, if you have a good wok ethic you will do well working here

    Cons

They seem to keep employees that should maybe be doing some other kind of work

    Advice to Management

Keep the program quality where it is and hire people who are willing to work.

    Pros

A great place to learn about ESL program management and how to solve problems with few tools and supplies. Also the best place in Atlanta to have consistent contact with a diverse immigrant community.

    Cons

Senior management is firmly resting in senility and often reprimands via emails in ALL CAPS. There is no sincere encouragement - just sleazy and manipulative. This company knows very little in the way of support to employees. If you are lucky to work under a good supervisor, you will get it but they have few resources to do this with. Upper management at Chamblee has very poor communication with the academic team and support/guidance from upper to middle management is lacking. The various departments in the Chamblee campus constantly function at odds with each other because certain people love the power they think they have and they use it to push other team members around. Again no support for combating this. Upper management and corporate makes (not earns) upwards of four times as much as middle management positions (their direct reports). The disparity is shocking and sad. When orders for dry erase markers for teachers are threatened but upper management is making double 6-figure salaries, you know you're in a place that doesn't care about its employees.

    Advice to Management

The way you do business is not sustainable or respectable.

    Pros

The innocent students and the teachers

    Cons

Upper management are liars and hustlers...poor morale among teachers who never get rewarded.

    Advice to Management

Shut down before the government steps in. Your powerful lawyers can only protect you for so long. Karma will visit you soon.
