    Pros

    Job security.Job is not hard

    Cons

Low pay, very bad on nepotism. The company doesn't believe in hiring from within, the Caucasian supervisors bring in their relatives and friends to fill open positions.

    Advice to Management

Give seasoned employees opportunity to grow with the company through advancement. Supervisors need diversity training. The workforce is 99% Afro-American but majority of managers are Caucasian -not good.

    Pros

Decent pay for being new to the lab field

    Cons

Poor treatment of supervisors and staff by upper management. It is all about the bottom dollar and meeting unrealistic metrics. Unqualified individuals asked to oversee projects for their own interests. I will stay another 3 months and then leave to a local hospital.

    Advice to Management

look at the people who are leaving or have left in all departments.... you are losing thousands of dollars a month when they people get fed up and leave.

    Pros

Benefits, that is the only pro.

    Cons

Management is horrible all the way from immediate supervisors of specimen processing departments to senior management level. No possibility for promotion unless you're asked and complete unmoral things.

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to serious revamp their management team at the Memphis lab. They're letting them run it a muck. No business can survive under such operations.
