I have been working at IDT full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

IDT like many companies, has faced new challenges that have come through new technologies. They continue to introduce new products to enhance revenue and sales opportunities. This gives us the opportunity to grow our knowledge base and increase our compensation. Managment consistently requests feedback about changes and has promoted and values a team enviroment. Managers recognize hard work and it is rewarded.

    Cons

Could be a little stressful sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work, and continue to improve!

I have been working at IDT full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Vacations days in the beginning of the year to use as needed

    Cons

Don't pay car allowance, mileage or any expenses, you use your own car. Overwork the employees, no advancement or pay increases. You have to do the sales, installations, customer services, collect money from the customers, do the deposits to the bank. You are totally responsible for that money, if you lose it you have to pay for it. Commissions are miserable. A big Company with Poor Management Skills. The management...

I worked at IDT full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

collaborative and friendly environment. Good work life balance. Hard work is appreciated by business. Superior benefits. Everyone counts.

    Cons

Somewhat of a disconnect between management and employees. Some depts can use better career growth and newer technologies.

    Advice to Management

Bridge the gap between all levels. Be more transparent about projects. If pulling the plug due to lack of interest. Keep atmosphere upbeat. Don't overhire and then have constant threat of layoffs; robbing employees peace of mind. Invest more in keeping cutting edge in product development. I worked at IDT

    Pros

The people, the actual workers, are some of the best people around. They are hard-working, dedicated, and make the work environment fun and entertaining. The company used to recognize hard work and dedication with salary increases and bonuses.

    Cons

The company cares nothing about dedication and hard work anymore. They always look to nickel & dime their employees by applying salary cuts and firing those with the highest salaries, regardless of their dedication, work and past contributions. They will fire many valuable and hard-working employees just so upper management can continue...

    Advice to Management

There are policies and well defined processes to ensure quality service for customers and a good work environment for employees. I have been working at IDT

    Pros

Flexible schedule, able to work from home

    Cons

Very political, it's all about who you know or are related to. Compensation not reflective of position or responsibilities performed but based on who you 'schmooze' with. No transparency. No rewards or recognition for hard work or for going the extra mile. Lack of communication from upper management or between departments. Frequent 'restructuring' makes work challenging....
