    Pros

Some of the best reasons to work for IDX were it was a great industry, smart employees, experienced CEO, and great product. It also had cutting edge technology. Strong CEO.

    Cons

The downsides for IDX Capital were a poor work atmosphere where some of the managers continually undermined employees and at times tried to take credit for the work that people under them produced.

    Advice to Management

For the leadership at IDX i would recommend keeping the CEO in place and finding a way to hire a better trading desk manager. A former manager there did a poor job of leading by example and was continually undermining other empolyees

    Pros

Technology is cutting edge technology and great place to learn show your technical skills.

    Cons

CEO is very un professional, work environment is very bad, and employees were treated very bad and salary payments were not done on time and even cases where employees were not paid their waves for work done.

    Advice to Management

Stop bad work environment and un lawful practices.

    Pros

They paid you well above it's competitors, benefits were good and you advanced quickly if you showed initiative and talent. Attracted top talent from market. CEO and desk management were no B.S and extremely professional. They had very good strategic command of business and its compeitors-- invited strategic input from senior staff.

    Cons

Broking was not for me. The work was hard, sometimes long hours. You had to earn respect of desk. You could not 'talk you way' into getting paid. Not a place where you could slide by--desk management had little tolerance for non performers--especially when market volatile and trading desk was busy.
