I worked at IDology full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are some great people who are knowledgeable, hard working, and very approachable.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the amazing people I spoke of are not in management positions. The managerially hierarchy is mostly comprised of those who do not have the product knowledge expected from their very own subordinates. Their priorities range from valuing those who speak the loudest but produce weak output; enforcing blind loyalty (ex: the suspicious amount of positive reviews that crop up for every critical one); and sacrificing process quality for short term success.

I have been working at IDology full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Well run business. Bright people who are welcoming. Opportunity to do important work in a growing field. Fast paced and employees are expected to work hard, be entrepreneurial, get stuff done, yet not over the top and can achieve work/life balance.

    Cons

Location by SunTrust Park can cause long commutes for some, but welcome to ATL.

I have been working at IDology full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great culture overall. Management is fair, kind, and caring. Focus on employment growth, both professional and personal. There is a sense of family across the company. Client satisfaction is a priority. We have fun while striving for excellence. Innovation is at the center of all that we do.

    Cons

Hiring enough employees to keep up with the company's growth. Some cross departmental processes can be improved upon to make business run more smoothly.

I worked at IDology full-time for less than a year

    Pros

convenient location and accmodating depending on your manager and department.

    Cons

For a company that has been around for longer than 15 years there is no reason to still have the early on “start up pains”. The work environment is very poor and filled with slackers. Leadership is complacent and content with the level of mediocre success that is omnipresent. The interview process took over two months. After each step I asked what are the next steps in the process and would be continually told there was only one more final step. Let’s just say this went on for 4 more steps that continued over the course of 2 months. When I initially met with a recruiter we agreed that what I asked to be paid fell in the middle range of what they pay for that position and wouldn’t be an issue. I was then required to submit multiple references, college transcripts and here’s the shocker- THEY ASKED ME TO SUBMIT MY W-2 FROM MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER BEFORE AGREEEING ON HOW MUCH TO PAY ME; only to undercut me by a lot less than what was originally agreed upon. I have never in my life been asked to provide a w-2 to a future employer. There is no formal training process and you would think that after 15 years there would be some plan in place for new hires. Nothing. I was literally told to watch a series of about 7 videos in no order and gain a full understanding of the company. Luckily if you have the slightest experience and knowledge you can do this job without help. If you’re expecting a clear path from the company- DON’T. You are thrown to the wolves and pretty much at a desk alone all day long. The CEO of the company is in the office everyday and walks around as if he is spying on everyone and not trusting that after 15 years a job is being down. However, if you’re fresh out of college and looking for a job to slack off in and understand what you’ll hate in corporate America this is the place for you. This is not a place for a professional with experience looking to grow at an organization. Roles are limited and there is no direct path for upward mobility in the company. Also, nepotism is very present at this organization and favoritism is also shown. However, they will gift you little gift cards at the end of the month if selected in a raffle to remind you that the company cares about you. There are no team building activities or company wide initiatives. This company is very disorganized and it is mind blowing that they’ve been able to stay in business this long. All of this sounds like start up issues but the company is by far no start up. Just very misguided. However, there are a lot of nice employees in the office in other departments. But the problems begin with leadership and trickle on down. Changes are trying to be made but it will take time and hopefully it progresses before those looking to make change grow tired and leave as well.

I have been working at IDology full-time for more than a year

    Pros

IDology is definitely on the cutting edge! It's a smaller company which is a nice change from traditional corporate. Its an exciting atmosphere and numerous opportunities to learn and grow! Everyone here is extremely friendly and helpful; no question or concern goes unanswered. The product is amazing, and there are constant improvements and releases with new features/solutions. When I interviewed for my current position, I was told that this was a family environment; I cannot tell you how refreshing it has been to learn it is just that! Everyone rallies together, there is true teamwork, and we look out for each other if someone is ill or has something going on outside of work. I've had the privilege of working for two of the smartest women EVER in this organization! As a woman, it's great to see women in high ranking positions who know the business inside and out even down to the technical aspects of the product! In addition, this company promotes diversity and understands that it takes all of us working together to truly be successful. In addition, the Leadership team is awesome. Within my original 90 days, I had a couple of issues come up and Leadership was more than willing to work with me regarding needing time off, working from home, etc. The folks here really care about their employees, and they truly want to make sure people enjoy coming to work. There isn't currently a work from home policy, but make no mistake, Leadership understands that "life happens" and, as long as you aren't an abuser, they are really great with working with you to meet your needs. I see a lot of opportunity to learn and grow here, and I am really excited about that. I learn something new every day, and I am grateful to be working with an organization that challenges, and rewards me in new ways daily.

    Cons

Honestly, I do not have any. If I wanted to name an area of opportunity I'd say that I'd really like to see a work from home policy come about as the traffic in Atlanta can be deplorable, but again, Leadership is really flexible as long as you aren't asking for their flexibility every week. They seem to understand that life happens, and there is compassion and understanding regarding that.

I have been working at IDology full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

My experience working at IDology for nearly 3 years has been great. There are frequent opportunities for growth and additional responsibility. I am grateful that my manager and the CEO have allowed me to advance my career so far in such a short time. The fast paced environment can be challenging, but that is what keeps work exciting and rewarding. I have a supportive manager that always has an open door for any questions or advice I am seeking. She is a great resource and mentor. Learning is encouraged and employees from all departments are invited to learn about the products and enhancements we release. Most coworkers are friendly and eager to help when needed. IDology offers great benefits. We also have fun social events. The culture is refreshing - management is honest and we have hard-working, talented colleagues.

    Cons

At times, competing priorities make it difficult to stay on track (but this has allowed me to grow as an employee).

I have been working at IDology full-time

    Pros

There are some actual great people

    Cons

I have not seen an inaccurate detractive statement yet. Instead of getting people to cover up the long list of misdeeds at this organization, it appears that you are simply continuing the unhealthy process of sweeping serious misdeeds and allegations under the rug. Regarding not being comfortable speaking with SVP because of her close and personal ties with management: ACCURATE. Feel as though I will be retaliated against for speaking out: ACCURATE. Unethical and inappropriate relationships: ACCURATE. Slackers in management: ACCURATE. Instead of getting 3 to 4 people to come write a good review to offset the bad ones, why not actually attempt to fix the problem? I saw one manager on here refer to detractors as "bad apples" and how "we should just quit if we don't like it so much" then said "but come talk to me if you ever need to talk." Yeah that makes me feel VERY comfortable...not! Pay attention to these reviews if you are seeking employment here or you will definitely regret it.
