        Neutral Outlook

I worked at IFB Industries full-time for less than a year

        Pros

        1. Leading company in washing machine appliances in India with the whole vertical industry stack (manufacting to sales support) 2. Teams in RnD give you freedom to implement their requirement 3. Not enough work pressure, hence enough breathing room to experiment and learn

        Cons

        1. Low salary 2. Lethargy in bringing other home appliance RnD in-house, gets boring after a while 3. Many processes still using pen & paper, computerising them would increase efficiency 4. Strict in-timing for RnD folks , that too in a city which does not have any necessary public transport infrastructure 5. Working full day on Saturdays

        Advice to Management

        1. Increase basic pay if you wish to retain competent people 2. Expand your RnD scope to other areas of home appliances industry to get out of stagnation 3. Keep saturdays off or atleast half-day 4. Modernise your processes by computerising them 5. Provide office cabs if you wish to keep strict in-timing 6. Put efforts on modernising your workforce and processes, people seemed very lethargic to me
