    great computers are available. talented product management teams

    long hours and very few breaks. lots of stress from loud open workspace

    stop micromanaging & begin to etablish trusting relationships with your employees

    Great for young graduates and bilingual. Dynamic, young and fast pace environment.
    Turnover hence promotion opportunities. Good step before moving to a bigger firm, bank.

    Cons

    Not good at identifying potential. Measures are not always implemented or slow.
    Internationals are not being rewarded fairly. Year end reviews are not objective.

    The majority of staff are intelligent and social, despite an ever growing shift of in priorities by management, staff are 99% friendly and happy to interact and help...

    Good social organised activities and regular social gatherings at company's well known watering holes...

    Great location in the City and free fruit a bonus...

    A culture of high turnover of staff that other companies & recruiters would bite there hand off for...

    Top level management disengaged from their staff who are succeeding in their tasks despite the ridiculous timescales & deadlines they are asked to perform under.

    It's clear you have a strategy which is to succeed at all costs without any thought for those who keep your company at number one in your field...

    Great benefits package, loads of opportunity for progression. Fast-paced, challenging environment (I worked in IT). Generally good working environment and focus on staff engagement.

    Cons

    Poor internal communication about company direction. Very reactive decision-making at all levels.

    Some great people, Harlequins tickets, roof garden, free fruit, great coffee

    Cons

    Senior management make rash, non-sensical decisions, unrealistic rollout dates, awful communication

    Advice to Management

    Praise the hard workers, stop promoting slackers who just talk the talk and don't graft. Don't forget the middle managers, never listened to.

    good benefits
    there is a certain number of talented people in IT
    central location
    good to get experience in a medium big company

    Cons

    too many pointless meetings
    tons of email and burocracy
    management doesn't listen to IT needs and is not aware how software works
    lack of vision replaced by making your manager happy
    deep hierarchy
    unclear how promotions are managed, career is based on politics sometimes

    Advice to Management

    listen to IT needs and decide if agile transition if wanted or not. if wanted invest more, if not move to something else. stop working in projects and start working with products

    Pros

    Been with IG for more than 3 years now.
    The company has evolved over the years. Adopting and adapting Automation, Continuous delivery approach.
    Experienced Technical people in the company.

    Good place to work for if you are in your early stage of career

    Cons

    The Product Managers/Product Owners are completely uneducated with the technical processes Their key focus relies on delivering features, irrespective of the impact of the speed of delivery on Quality.

    The Management is blind to the fact of how the IT teams function and how much technical debt they are accumulating by quick feature delivery.

    Lack of progression in the company.
    QA Managers cannot call the shots and are not involved at project levels. Have no appreciation when projects are delivered. Team Leads handle most of the work.

    Salaries are not upto market level. Appraisals are just a waste of time as they don't translate into proper pay rise.
