I worked at IGATE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very easy data processing job.

    Cons

Long hours, little pay. This is a job where you have to work 16 hours straight, go home for 8 hours meaning eat, shower, sleep for 6 hours and then go back to work. Sleep become a luxury. It's mandatory overtime. When you have a day off, you really don't enjoy it because you were working probably until 5am that day, and your body needs sleep. You will wake up at around 3pm. Get some stuff done and get ready to work for the next day.
This is most likely going to take a toll on your hands and back.

    Advice to Management

Because supervisor keep quitting because they work longer hours it is easy to advance.

    Pros

I love it because I was allowed to listen to my Ipod while I did data entry. Great opportunity for overtime.

    Cons

Don't stay at this company if you do not like overtime.

I worked at IGATE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is nothing PRO about iGATE.

    Cons

The pay is bad (raises you have to fight for), you can take time-off WITHOUT PAY, no benefits, training consisted of 10 minutes by someone who then has NO time to answer/help with questions or anything else. You cannot move up at iGATE unless the person in charge "LIKES YOU". HR doesn't even exist, she is not even qualified (El Paso, TX location). The don't appreciate the good workers, but boy does the incapable or butt kissers move up

    Advice to Management

    Why, they don't listen anyway

I worked at IGATE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very good benefits package, good salary rate, kept their promises.

    Cons

No real interaction, too many people doing one thing, never made me feel part of it, disorganized. I was left stranded in El Paso because their project was cut off and never offered me a new location, even when they are an international company.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to new projects, new hires and the possibility of actually caring about them.
