    Cons

I am just at start up with this organisation , at present no comments on cons but it am noticing the best work experience at an organisation.

I have been working at IGATE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Infrastructure (Some Good buildings originally belonged to Patni), Good if you want to retire in the same company without doing much, or learning much. You would have good time with your graph (financial or otherwise) staying almost flat (so flat that you could lie (relax) on it!

    Cons

Managers, especially the middle ones are from dark ages, employees don't have any say, they keep on rolling out and forcing silly policies that don't have much sense. Managers are not at all interested in getting people trained - they hire people with no or minimum skill set (read cheap) then force them into labour, letting the clients shout. Performance Appraisals are not transparent - ... Transport facility is very poor - routes are created in such a creative way that you have to spend about 3 to 4 hours every day commuting for a 20 km run. Food served in the cafeteria is not of good quality - some people have even found bugs in their food!

    Advice to Management

Teach your middle managers not to act like politicians. Saying something in front and then stabbing your back. Do something about the transport and food facilities.

I have been working at IGATE full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Patni was previously a vary good company to work with and after the takeover by IGATE is slowly stepping the ladders to become one of the giants in the IT & BPO sector combined.

    Cons

Facility & infrastucture could be better.

    Advice to Management

Most of the BPO processes needs to be managed in a better way to gain client confidence. Management of existing processes should be top priority instead of getting more new work.
