    Pros

Good for freshers or 1 or 2 year experienced people only .....

    Cons

Manager clearly say : if you want increment change company ..so don't expect ..

    False Promises ....

After caogemini take over igate all onsite employee moved under Infra group even if you work for finance or any other domain .

Insurance is too costly for Infra domain..

    Advice to Management

Please have uniform policies for Infra and Finance domain . Working on finance client and not getting related benefit..it sucks..

I worked at IGATE full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

When I started I was trained for three months. The training was good, I got to learn a lot, after that we were put into projects. The benefits were good.

    Cons

They hire 100 people students in bulk and after the training period they put you on bench for atleast a month and then alllocate to some projects. The project in which I was, was not that interesting. I did not get to learn much

    Advice to Management

Don't randomly allocate students into projects, ask them for their preference. Recently graduated students do not have much responsibility, make good use of them

I worked at IGATE (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) Few senior level folks were good.
    2) The company had few good products.

    Cons

    1) The company was managed and run poorly.
    2) Overall quality of the people and management was poor.
    3) Didn't realize the full potential of the products and services it had developed internally.

    Advice to Management

It's acquired my Capgemini now. Capgemini would do well to get rid of the bad apples.
