    Pros

Brilliant team. Supportive management. Opportunity to work with toys you otherwise wouldn't have had access to. Nice perks (you get an official MacBook).

    Cons

Might seem like too big a commitment to people who don't really love the job. People you didn't know even existed might come up to you every do often for tech support.

    Advice to Management

You're doing a great job. Keep it up. It might be a good idea to keep a better record of who does what though.

I worked at IIT Delhi full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good Professors
International Conference invitations and opportunity to participate
Can work as a good staging area for MS or PhD someplace else

    Cons

For being called a world class institute my deepest apologies to Indian grant system the Labs are rife with under-facilitated equipment , politics , referrals of people who are not IIT-Brand.
No promotions for hard workers. Severely underpaid for PHD Research Assistants , who sometimes have a family to look after.
People work late in nights just to access the air conditioner. For an average institute these things are fine , but for the sole premier engineering institute of India there are high walls that separate the premier JEE undergraduate student levels from the Postgraduate / PHD crowd.

    Advice to Management

Dont know where to start . An overhaul from the clerks to the building infrastructure to PhD/ MS candidacy is required.
