    Pros

Good pay if you get the opportunity to advance. Benefits, medical, dental,401k match. Management can be good if you part of their good buddy club. Your co-workers, for the most part, are great people.

    Cons

When you work for a terrible manager or supervisor your life is miserable. You have to write a book to get promoted. This place reminds me of the military because they have their own NKO training and many other things. The career path for technicians basically doesn't exist, except for those that are always hanging around with management. You stay a tech or you leave the company. They always talking about the company's core values, but the company itself does not follow them. Training doesn't exist for the job that you get hired to do. Your sleep gets so bad, you work 4 months during the day and then you switch to nights for 4 month

    Advice to Management

Take care of your techs because they do a lot for this company. If you treat people like dirt, they will leave.

    Pros

Pay is good if you get opportunity. Benefits(medical,dental,401k match). Management can be good if you get the right people. Your peers are for the most part good people. The CEO's seem like great people who are really doing their best to make the company succeed. Bottom line is if you are smart and like money/benefits over job satisfaction than this is the place for you!

    Cons

If you work for a bad manager or supervisor your life will be hell. You have to write a novel to get promoted and even after you have every bullet accurately filled out it is still HEAVILY subject to opinions of management. Career path from YE tech is basically non-existant. You stay a tech or you leave the company. They talk heavily about the values of the company, but the company itself does not follow them(The people do though for the most part). If you are a tech your opinion is disregarded and you will command 0 respect from others(outside of your peers). As soon as you go salary your work life balance disappears; the engineers in YA work 50+ hours per week and this is just expected. The micron mentality is slowly creeping its way back into the company and its heading downhill because of it. Area management will have favorites who will get promotions/recognition who don't deserve them while snubbing those who do. Management heavily values a university degree over everything else including: experience, motivation, dedication, deductive reasoning, etc. We have hired many people into roles who are terrible employees but at least they have a degree!(Even though they had someone highly intelligent, motivated, with loads of experience applying as well).

    Advice to Management

Invest in your people and they will invest in you. If you continue ignoring people who are highly motivated to succeed they will just leave and use their motivation at another company.

    Pros

    Work/ Life balance

    Good pay
    Most managers are good

    Cons

Company culture can encourage people to become complacent and lack motivation to push themselves.

    Advice to Management

Push your employees and do not accept excuses and missed deadlines.

    Pros

Good pay & benefits...great overall company to work for but can also depend on who your supervisor/manager is too.

    Cons

poor management and disconnect between the people making decisions and the actual people affected by those decisions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees a little more...lots of time wasted due to bad procedures and useless meetings (not all meeting useless but a lot are..).

    Pros

    Good pay & excellent benifits

    Cons

Every 4 months you must switch to nights. The company leadership does not follow the preached values. They recently laid off veteran employees to cut costs. These were people who had given 10 or 15 years of hard work and dedication to the company, but were in the upper echelons of the pay scale. There promotion system is completely broken. Those who are promoted are not the hardest or most knowledgeable workers, but rather the ones who are in the boys club with upper management.

    Advice to Management

Follow the company values. They are what made IM Flash great in the first place. Value your employee's as they are your biggest asset.

    Pros

    alright pay
    good benefits
average place to start your career but not somewhere that you stay very long.

    Cons

    Promotions are almost non existent.
Its all about who you know not what you do. Promotions have nothing to do with how hard you work.
Managers make complete changes to different aspects of you daily job without recommendations or input from the people it affects the most.
Management has no idea what actually goes on inside the Fab.
To many managers and engineers that don't actually do anything.
    Toxic managers and work environment.
    Dread going to work everyday.

    Advice to Management

During the recent layoffs I saw some of the most knowledgeable and hardworking technicians layed off. While the people that come in and sleep all day in a corner, on face book, or are just straight incompetent and break everything they touch stayed and even got promotions because they're buddy buddy with the managers . You've destroyed the morale of the company and now your hiring again a month later for all those positions that you let go. Shows great planning on your part. Your technicians are over worked under appreciated and they are the heart of the company. You sell the company very well to new hires but they quickly realize that it was all fake and nothing they do or say matters. Had a manager straight up tell me that the values and employee hand book/ company rules only apply when they want them to. When its convenient for them. Other than that they make up whatever rules they want on the spot to get what they want.
No one cares about the gym or shiny new offices for your managers, when you cant get the tools for you technicians that they use on a daily basis. How about making some real changes like making a it a decent place to work.

    Pros

    Decent pay, Good work schedule.

    Cons

Managers like to play favorites. Promotions are granted not because of what you know but who you know. There is a different set of rules for those chosen few. Lower level supervisors and team leads are afraid to make any decisions or are powerless to do so.

    Advice to Management

Reward those who work hard and do their job. Empower supervisors to supervise and not to be afraid to do the right thing. Right now there is a culture of assigning blame and pointing fingers instead of learning from mistakes.
