I worked at IMRB full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Teaches you to make your way through the mess that is imrb

    Cons

    - No work life balance - No acknowledgement of the work that you have done or of the extra hours that you have put or the weekends that you have worked - Credit is often taken away by the seniors. Politics and favoritism at all the levels. -HR is redundant. Neither do they decide the increments nor do they keep the malpractices in check. -Woek on impossible deadlines as seniors have no say against the clients

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as humans and not machines to dish out reports every other day

I have been working at IMRB full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Used to be a big name in India but that's it.

    Cons

You will work 3 times for half the pay in this company and then you will recieve a 300 rs hike/month. Strange how client expectations have been set to a most un-reasonable level and they treat Kantar employees like slaves. As a result, the company has to make do with being understuffed continuously as simply giving out freebies and heavily discounted prodcuts to keep the client happy has become a practice. Advice to Management

No point in talking to the Indian upper management as they are the problem. If the international management sees this, may be it's time freshen things up and break out of the club culture at top management. It's the bottom level people that keeps your company going. Give some back. Dont be greedy.

I have been working at IMRB full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It is one of the well known research companies to work with in India. Helps you learn about the industry

    Cons

No work-life balance. Work from home policy is also not very effective. There is lot of internal politics and top management can be very intrusive in your personal lives. I have seen people crying due to demoralizing outbursts from the top management. Majority of the employees leave within a year or two which limits the expertise required to guide new employees.

    Advice to Management

Understand the old ways of working is not applicable in changing job environment. Treating people with respect is a strong requirement in today's world.

I have been working at IMRB full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You get a good amt of hols, but most of the times you cannot take it as you always have some work through which you are nt even learnin anythin

    Cons

People say that its a brand and you will learn a lot: What I have noticed is , you are always overshadowed by senior management No new learning No new ideas are implemented You come to IMRB you are actually taking many steps backward in your career, even if you know something, your seniors would never accept and keep their big egos in front of you.
