      Cons

Poor work life balance. To much work. Very less pay. Bad way of appraisal. Laid back company. All profit eaten by GBDs and VPs.

      Advice to Management

Pay better. Don't be hell bent on serving full notice period.

I have been working at IMRB full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

Good place to learn market research - or at least it used to be The IMRB brand name still carries some weight

      Cons

Short-sighted senior management Poor work allocation No respect for personal lives of employees

      Advice to Management

Not very sure as to why I am even writing this here. I'd be really surprised if anyone even cares. But at some point, the senior management needs to stop and take a look around them. IMRB used to be a place where one would go to learn research. It is fast becoming a "sales" company. Taken together with the high attrition rate at mid-level, things are not looking very good. Not a very good time to join the company.

I have been working at IMRB

      Pros

Lot of things to learn who's who of FMCG as clients Friendly environment Average age of workers around 25. (After you spend more than 70 hours/week at office regularly, colleagues are bound to become your friends, infact at some point you would feel they are the only people aware that you are still alive, the rest of the world has forgotten about you and moved on)

      Cons

Poor work life balance Poor Pay (You work investment banking hours and get govt of india salaries) Poor Hike Extremely stressful job, relentless pressure No formal training process, you are expected to learn of the job and would get yelled at if you make mistakes No benefit for being a Kantar company, None of Kantar's benefits are available while all the negatives are....

      Advice to Management

Change the culture of the company. So many people are talking about poor work life balance yet management doesn't give a damn.
