    Pros

    ING was a great company to have an internship with. The employees and managers are all encouraging and supportive and want you to learn as much as you possibly can. The environment isn't stressful either.

    Pros

    good team, firm, and benefits . There is a good working culture in place. Management is serious and really good

    Cons

    the salary isn't fantastic in particular on the bonus side, it does not reflect inputs into the team and into the business activity

    Advice to Management

    continue on the trend and work culture, but increase benefits, which remains a frustration at most level. unlock some redundant processes slowing business

    Pros

    Ability to travel abroad and pursue opportunities in different groups within structured finance departments globally. Many workshops by Moody's analytics that offer opportunity to strengthen technical skills.

    Cons

    The pay isn't particularly high. The exit opportunities are somewhat limited as this isn't a typical American investment banking position.

    Great benefits and fair salary.

    Cons

    Not a transparent environment. Management team doesn't share information unless it is in their best interest.
    Dutch natives tend to be gruff and speak in their own language in order to get away with subject matter around those who don't understand.

    Advice to Management

    Having your employees fear you is not good for morale.

    Good extra legal benefits. Nice canteen

    Cons

    Blame Culture, huge transitional issues in IT, Political games. ING is an unpleasant environment to work in and management creates pressure and unhealthy culture in employee relationships. Big changes need to occure

    Focus on rewarding rather than punishing and you will get results

    Very stressful, working many hours without salary, getting paid with bonus from the contracts you bring in.

    Pros

    Benefits are supposed to attract talent since they cannot compete with their competitors on salary and bonus. Retirement is solid with pension plan with 401k.

    Cons

    Senior management not engaged with employee needs. All they want is more with less. It comes down to a numbers game.

    Advice to Management

    Not everything can be outsourced.
